Pet care websites that ask about the pet first

Before anyone hands you their dog, they want to see where it will sleep and play, what it costs and whether you have room on their dates. Your site shows that, and the booking request arrives with the breed, weight, vaccines and dates already in it.

Where it goes wrong today

1

Every booking starts with the same questions

Breed, size, spayed or neutered, shots current, which dates. When the site does not ask, you do, by text, one answer at a time, between baths and walks.

2

No way to see the place

Owners want to see the kennels or suites, the play yard and the grooming room before they hand over the leash. A logo and a phone number do not earn that trust. Real photos of your space and your staff do.

3

Holiday weeks fill up and the calls keep coming

When boarding fills up around Thanksgiving and the winter holidays, people keep calling after you are full. If the site shows which dates are taken, you spend those weeks with the pets you have instead of saying no on the phone.

What your site does

A booking request with the pet details in it

The owner picks the service (grooming, boarding or daycare) and the dates. They add the pet: name, breed, weight, age, spayed or neutered, and anything you should know about health or behavior. They attach the vaccine records you require. You get one request with everything, and you confirm by phone, text or email.

How a customer uses it

  1. Choose grooming, boarding or daycare, and the dates or a preferred day. Dates you have marked as full show as taken.
  2. Add the pet: name, breed, weight, age, spayed or neutered, and notes on health or behavior.
  3. Attach a photo of the vaccine records you require, straight from the phone.
  4. Send. The request reaches you right away, and you confirm when it works for you.

What your site can include

  • Booking request with service, dates and full pet details
  • Vaccine records attached to the request
  • Dates you mark as full shown as taken before anyone asks
  • Your prices by service and pet size, if you want them shown
  • Real photos of the kennels or suites, play areas and grooming room
  • Your rules in plain words: vaccines, temperament checks, drop-off and pick-up times
  • Tap-to-call and directions on the first screen
  • Google Maps and the SEO basics, on your own domain with SSL

We agree what goes into your site on the 15 minute call, and the fixed price covers all of it.

Sites we built that work the same way

Our clients so far are in Lithuania and Sweden. These are live, open them.

What carries over is booking by date: each trip shows whether places are left, people reserve with a headcount and no prepayment, and the organizer confirms. A boarding calendar works on the same idea. The site is in Lithuanian.

Questions owners ask

Can the site take deposits for boarding?

The booking request itself takes no payment, so nothing is charged until you confirm. If you want deposits paid online, that is an online payment setup, and we price it by scope on the call.

I already use booking software for grooming. Will this clash with it?

No. If your software has a booking page, we link to it where people look for it. The request form can still handle what your software does not, like holiday boarding or new clients who need a temperament check first.

Do I have to keep a calendar up to date?

Only the dates you want shown as full, and you mark those yourself in the editor. If you would rather not have a calendar, the form simply takes the dates and you reply. Either way, nothing is confirmed until you say so.

What does it cost?

A fixed price, agreed on a 15 minute call before any work starts. We build the first version free and have it on your phone in 2 days, so you click around it before deciding. If it is not for you, you owe nothing. Get your free preview.

Have you built a site for a groomer or a kennel?

Not yet, and we have no US clients so far. Our clients are in Lithuania and Sweden, and the closest fit is the tour organizer above with its booking by date. Robertas, who runs builtlit, is in the Chicago area until November 18, 2026 and happy to come see your place in person.
