Tree service websites that size up the job first

A tree job is priced by the size of the tree and what it could hit on the way down. Your site asks both in terms a homeowner can answer, plus how a truck gets in, with photos, before you load anything.

Where it goes wrong today

1

Every request reads "need a tree taken down"

A big oak leaning over the roof and a dead pine at the back of an open lot need different crews and different gear, and the prices are nowhere close. The message looks the same for both. You call back to ask, or drive out to look, before you know if it is even your kind of job.

2

Access you find out about on site

The gate is a few inches too narrow for the chipper, the backyard has no way in for the bucket truck, or the stump sits behind a new fence. You learn that standing in the driveway, after the drive.

3

Insurance and credentials nobody can see

Homeowners know a falling tree can take out a roof, a car or the neighbor's fence. Before they let a crew near it, they want to know you are insured and whether anyone on the crew is a certified arborist. If the site does not say, they ask on the phone, or they do not call.

What your site does

A tree estimate from height, distance and a few photos

The visitor picks the job first: removal, trimming, stump grinding, or storm damage that needs help now. For height, they compare the tree with the house: shorter, about the same, or taller. For distance, they say what it could reach if it came down. Then how a truck gets to it, and a few photos. You get enough to decide what to bring, or whether to go and look first.

How a customer uses it

  1. Choose removal, trimming, stump grinding, or storm damage. Storm damage puts the call button first.
  2. Compare the tree with the house: shorter, about the same, or taller. Then tick what it could reach if it fell, like the house, a garage, a fence or power lines.
  3. Say how a truck gets to it: from the driveway, through a gate of a given width, or only on foot.
  4. Add a photo of the whole tree, one of the base, and the address, and send.

What your site can include

  • Estimate request with height, distance to the house, access and photos
  • Separate pages for removal, trimming, stump grinding and storm cleanup
  • Your insurance in plain words, with a certificate on request
  • Certified arborists named, if you have them
  • What happens to the wood and chips: hauled away, cut for firewood or left on site
  • Before and after photos of removals near houses, with the town
  • A storm line at the top of the homepage that goes up after high winds
  • Search basics and Google Maps, on your own domain with SSL

We agree what goes into your site on the 15 minute call, and the fixed price covers all of it.

Sites we built that work the same way

Our clients so far are in Lithuania and Sweden. These are live, open them.

DSV technika website on a phonedsvtechnika.ltDSV technika Excavation, Vilnius · in LithuanianExcavation in Vilnius, stump removal included. Before booking, the visitor measures the narrowest point on the way in, like a gate or the gap between the house and the fence, and the site shows which of their two machines fits. For most jobs they ask for a few photos of the property instead of a site visit. The site is in Lithuanian.

Questions owners ask

Can I really price a removal from photos?

For a stump or a small tree in an open yard, the answers and the photos may be enough for a price range. For a big tree over the house, they tell you which crew and which gear to bring when you go look. Either way, you skip the drive for jobs you would turn down.

How should the site handle storm calls?

Storm damage is the first option, and it puts your phone number ahead of the form. Next to it goes your own note on what you take on after a storm and what you do not. If a tree is down on a power line, the note can tell people to call the utility first.

Should I list my insurance and certifications?

Yes, in plain words: who insures you, that you will send a certificate on request, and the names of any certified arborists on the crew. List only what is true and current. It answers the question homeowners would otherwise ask on the phone.

What will a tree service website cost me?

A fixed price that we settle on a 15 minute call, before we start. You pay it once and own the site, on your own domain with SSL. You see the first version, built free in 2 days, before you decide, and if it is not for you, you owe nothing.

Have you built a site for a tree service?

Not for a tree service, and we have no US clients yet. Our clients are in Lithuania and Sweden. The closest is the Vilnius digging crew above: it pulls stumps too, and its site asks for the gate width before a machine goes out. Robertas, who runs builtlit, is in the Chicago area until November 18, 2026 and happy to meet in person.
