Kebab house, Vilnius, Lithuania
A one-page restaurant site built to get the call
Not every business needs ten pages. A kebab house needed a one-page site where people on a phone find the menu and the prices in a few seconds and tap to call. Anything more would have been in the way.

Before: a short path that needed to stay short
El Sultan is a kebab house in Žemieji Paneriai, a neighborhood of Vilnius. The customer's path to it is short. Someone is hungry, searches on their phone for food nearby, and decides in about a minute based on three things: what's on the menu, what it costs, and how to get there or call. For a business like this a big website is a hindrance. Every extra page and animation puts distance between the visitor and the one thing they came to do. The common mistake in this trade is a PDF menu, which on a phone has to be downloaded and pinched to zoom.
What we built
One page, arranged around one action: the phone call.
- The first screen answers what a hungry person needs: what the place is, where it is, and the number to call for takeout. Three buttons lead to the only three things to do: come by, see the menu, or call.
- The menu as a normal part of the page, not a PDF: categories, dishes with photos and prices, readable on a phone without zooming. As plain text, every dish name and price is something Google can read too.
- A bar along the bottom of the phone screen with a call button and a directions button. It stays on screen, so the call is one tap away wherever you have scrolled.
- The page shows whether they are open right now and until what time.
- The address with a map and one-tap directions, for people checking the site on the way.
- Address, opening hours for each day and phone number written in schema.org format, so search engines read the same details visitors see.
- Speed over effects: no heavy extras, so the page opens quickly on mobile data.
How it works now
The site is live at elsultan.lt and has been on a monthly care plan since May 2026. When the menu or prices change, they send us the new version in any form, even a photo of the printed menu, and we update the site. In a restaurant there is never time to do that yourself.
Small is not worse
This is one of the smallest sites we have made. The size of a site should match the business. A kebab house is not a store, and building it like one costs money that didn't need to be spent. If your business has one goal, like a call, an order or a visit, everything on the page should lead there by the shortest route.
What we don't show here
We don't publish call or order numbers. The restaurant doesn't track them separately, and we don't write numbers we can't back up.
