Online stores for small businesses

Everything a website has, plus a product catalog, a cart, online payments and orders straight to your email. If a site with a request form would serve you better, we tell you that on the first call.

When a store pays off

A store earns its keep when people can buy without talking to you first. These are the signs:

  • You sell products at a set price, not jobs you quote
  • You have enough products that browsing them makes sense
  • Customers come back and order again
  • Taking orders by phone and text eats into your day

When a site with a request form is enough

Plenty of businesses do better without a cart. If every job is priced after a visit, if you sell a handful of things, or if customers always have questions before they buy, a cart adds cost and upkeep without adding sales. A website with a clear request form fits that better and costs less. We say so on the call, even though it is the smaller job for us.

What a store includes

  • Everything in a website: built for phones first, SEO basics and Google Maps, your domain and SSL
  • A product catalog with photos, descriptions and prices
  • A cart that works on a phone
  • Online payments
  • Orders straight to your email
  • Your sales, visible as they come in

How a store is priced

By scope, after a short call. A store with a dozen products and one with hundreds of products in several sizes are different jobs, so a single price would not mean much. What sets the scope: how many products you sell, the options on each one like size or color, how orders get to customers (shipping, pickup or local delivery), and whether the store has to work with a system you already use. You get a fixed price before any work starts, and as with every site, you see a working first version before you pay anything. More on how our pricing works.

Two stores we built and run

MILAshop sells handmade kids' goods online. padangos.online is an online tire store in Vilnius, in Lithuanian only. Both are live, so you can open them and browse the catalog yourself. The owner of MILAshop, Aušra Jankauskaitė, wrote on Google: “They built my online store quickly and smoothly and listened to every request.” (Translated from Lithuanian.) Questions owners ask

Do I need an online store or just a website?

If customers buy at a set price without talking to you, a store saves a lot of back and forth. If every job is quoted, or you sell only a few things, a site with a request form is usually the better fit and costs less. We tell you which one on the call.

How much does an online store cost?

It is priced by scope: how many products, the options on each, and how orders reach customers. You get a fixed price after a short call, before any work starts. Here is how the fixed price is set.

How do orders reach me?

Every order goes straight to your email, and you can see your sales as they come in.

Can customers pay online?

Yes. Online payments are part of every store we build. Tell us on the call how you take payments today and we plan the store around it.

Who owns the store?

You do. You pay once and it is yours, on your own domain with SSL. The care plan is optional. For a store it is worth a real look, because store software and payments need regular updates.
