Deck builder websites built around your finished decks

People choose a deck builder from photos of decks already built, and they want to know what each one was made of, how big it was and how long it took. Your site gives every finished deck its own page with those numbers, and estimate requests arrive with the size and the material already picked.

Where it goes wrong today

1

The gallery is the last item in the menu

Many deck sites lead with a list of services and tuck the work behind a Gallery link at the end. The homeowner came for the photos, and a slider of twenty pictures with no details does not tell them whether you build decks their size.

2

Pressure-treated, cedar or composite

First-time buyers do not know how the materials differ, how each one ages or how much upkeep it needs, so they ask you on the phone, one at a time. A page that explains it in your words answers that before the call.

3

Decided in winter, built in spring

Many people plan next year's deck in the off season, in the evening, with their spouse looking over their shoulder. Without a site there is nothing to look at and nothing to send, so the call they make in March goes to whoever they could find.

What your site does

A deck estimate that starts from your own prices

The homeowner picks the material, enters a rough length and width, and says how high off the ground the deck sits and whether it needs stairs or railings. The site shows a rough range from your own price per square foot, with a line that the real price comes after you measure. They add photos of the yard and send. If you would rather not show prices, the estimate shows only the size, and the request still carries every number.

How a customer uses it

  1. Pick the material: pressure-treated wood, cedar, composite or whatever else you build with.
  2. Enter a rough length and width, how high the deck sits, and whether it needs stairs or railings.
  3. See a rough range from your own prices, with a note that the real price comes after you measure.
  4. Add photos of the yard and the back of the house, enter the zip code and send.

What your site can include

  • A page for every finished deck: material, size, days, year and town
  • A gallery you can filter by decks, pergolas, porches and railings
  • An estimate that uses your price per square foot, or only the size if you prefer
  • A plain guide to the materials you build with: how each one ages and what upkeep it needs
  • The towns you cover, with a page for the ones you work in most
  • Text or WhatsApp next to the form, for people who would rather send a photo
  • Who pulls the permit and books the inspection, in one plain line
  • Google Maps and the SEO basics, on your own domain with SSL

We agree what goes into your site on the 15 minute call, and the fixed price covers all of it.

The steps from a free measuring visit to an exact price are written out, and the quote form starts with which structure the customer wants. That is how a deck builder who also does pergolas or porches can take each kind of request.

Questions owners ask

How many finished decks do I need for the gallery?

Five is enough to start, if each one has photos and the numbers: material, size, days and town. A handful of decks with details does more than a hundred photos with none, and phone photos are fine.

Who adds new decks when we finish them?

You can, in the editor. Or on the optional care plan you email us the photos and the numbers and we make the page, which is how the terrace builder above does it. Nobody on the crew has to sit at a computer after a day on site.

Should the site show prices?

A deck's price depends on the material, the size, the height and the yard, so a price list does not work. A rough range from the estimate does, with a line that the real price comes after you measure. If you would rather not show any prices, the estimate shows only the size and the request still carries it.

What does a deck builder website cost?

A fixed price, agreed on a 15 minute call before any work starts. You pay once and the site is yours, on your own domain with SSL. We build the first version free and have it on your phone in 2 days, so you click around it before deciding. If it is not for you, you owe nothing.

Have you built a site for a deck builder?

Yes, for the terrace builder and the pergola maker above, both in Lithuania. We have no US clients so far, so yours would be our first American deck builder. If you also build fences or do remodels, see our page on contractor websites. Robertas, who runs builtlit, is in the Chicago area until November 18, 2026 and happy to look at your work in person.
